All over these rural rough region we find traces of human activity in between wide skylines and deep valleys.
This architecture concerns the valleys : Vallée Française, Vallée Longue, Vallée Borgne, Montagne du Bougès and Vallée du Galeizon.
This typical limestone architecture can be found on the highlands (Causse Méjean, Causse Noir and Causse de Sauveterre) and the canyons (Gorges du Tarn, Gordes de la Jonte and Lot valley).
