The cottage LOU CHAUSSE is situated in the heart of the Cevennes at 650 m altitude, isolated, without being lost, in the calm and unforgettable scenery of the South Cevennes.The cottage, at the border of the Cevennes National Park is comfortable, independent and available all year round for nature lovers.

This beautiful, calm spot with exceptional nice view permits you to enjoy the pleasures of a healthy life in the open, far away of hubbub and pollution.

This site "Lou Chausse" is an ideal place for astronoms and star-lovers because of the absence of light-pollution and provides an exceptional bright sky.

Here you can appreciate numerous hikes, magnific landscapes and the friendly cevenol nature.

Each season will bring you its delights, flowering landscapes with heather, broom and chestnuts, protected wild life, gastronomic and a lot of other pleasures; hiking, biking, picking mushrooms, doing nothing under the chestnut trees, eating outside, swimming, listening to the birds......

THE GITE
The well-equiped cottage for 5 persons with a surface of 80 m² consists of :

Ground floor :
- a totally equiped kitchen with fridge, oven and
washing-machine
- a diningroom with big open fireplace and a single
sofa-bed.
- w.c.

First floor :
- 2 sleepingrooms (1double bed and 3 single beds)
- bathroom with bath
- w.c.

Outside:
- Terrace (50 m2) half sun half sheadow with
garden furniture and lounge-chairs.
- Panoramic view, barbecue and a childrens hut.

LETTING :

By week, Saturday afternoon till Saturday morning:

320 € /week 24 May - 5 July 2008
and 30 August - 27 September 2008
480 € /week 5 July till 30 August 2008
290 € /week during the other months
supplement : wood for fire place : 26 €/ week

Or by weekend
130 from Friday evening to Sunday evening
