a comfortable self catering holiday cottages in La Châtaigneraie in le Cros, an isolated hamlet in the Cevennes, among chestnuts-trees, is situated in the commune of St. Julien des Points, North of Alès in the peripheral zone of the Cevennes National Park with it's protected flora and fauna, at a altitude of 450 m.
Calm and comfort are guaranteed.

Nearby you can enjoy nature and swimming pleasure. Fishing or sailing is possible in the Camboux-lake or perhaps you might prefer hiking in the surrounding area.

La Coutinelle or la Pellegrine (2 ancient chestnut varieties) are comfortable groundfloor fully equiped bungalows, each of 65 m², in the middle of a chestnut-wood, with a private entrance, parking, terrace and barbecue.

Each self catering cottage consist of :
- A dining-room/living opening towards the terrace,
with very nice view, t.v., open fire-stove, mezzanine and documentation about different activities..

A terrace overlooking the Andorge-valley with garden-furniture, garden, terrace and barbecue.

A fully equiped kitchen with fridge-freezer, cooker, electric and microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine and vacuumcleaner.
A bathroom with a shower. Separated W.C.
Electric heating.

The six sleeping-places are divided over 2 groundfloor bedrooms : 1 bedroom with 1 bed 140 cm, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds of 90 cm.and 1 mezzanine with 2 single beds of 90 cm.

Access Florac Mende Railwaystation : La Grand Combe 10 kms ; Alès: 30 kms Airport : Nîmes 70 kms Route Nationale 106 : Mende - Florac - Le Collet de Dèze - St. Julien des Points - La Grand Combe - Alès		Alès Nîmes	*Motorway A75*, Sortie Marvejols - Florac- Collet de Dèze, at 4 km South of Le Collet de Dèze (in direction "Alès"), Don't turn off at the first indication : "Saint Julien des Points" at your left, but take the second one : 1 km further in front of the Hôtel-Restaurant des Cévennes) : "St. Julien des Points" and then follow the signs:"Le Cros"resp. "La Châtaigneraie" about 3 km.
	*Motorway* A7, sortie(exit) Bolléne, direction Alès, - La Grand Combe Saint Cécile d'Andorge, don't go into this village, but cross the bridge being the limit Gard-Lozére. Then take to the right , immediately after the bridge (in direction le Collet de Dèze) in front of the Hôtel-Restaurant des Cévennes) : "St. Julien des Points" and then follow the signs : "Le Cros" resp. "La Châtaigneraie"about 3 km..
