The village les Sagnes is situated on the slopes of the Mont Lozère, at 1200 m altitude, in the commune Saint Julien du Tournel, in the peripheric zone of the Cevennes National Park at 6 km from Bagnols-les-Bains ( thermal station) and at 25 km from Mende.
