Cécile et Frédéric JALAT welcome you at their typical cevenol property of 50 hectares.
	A part of their recently restored farmhouse has a old history of 3 centuries. Two nice brooks border the vast domain, which are very attractive to : - discover several constructions (bridges, watermills), - pick-nick near the waterfall - or walk along the track innerhalf the terrain.

You are in the Cevennes National Park. and therefore in the direct neighbourhood of the ecomuseums of Pont de Montvert, bordering the Tarn river or those in the cevennes region, informative and instructive about life in the Cevennes in the past.
You'll also find within 12 km driving tenniscourts, a swimmingpool and mountainbike-renting...

In the commune of St Frézal-de-Ventalon your find several well indicated footpaths enjoyable even for debutant hikers.

For more trained hikers, you are at 30 minutes hiking from different official 'Grande Randonnées' (for instance the majestic Mont Lozère).

Being in the department of the Lozère, numerous attractions are worth a visit like the famous Gorges du Tarn and the Jonte and Lot Valley or the Aubrac in the North of the Lozère. Castles, wildlife parks, museums or panoramic views will be found all along your journey in this region. (we have maps at your disposal)

The meals we serve are based on the vegetables we grow in our 1500 m² garden. Chestnuts and mushrooms are also a important ingredients in our recepies.(Possibility to pick mushrooms with your host)

The way our property is constructed permits to convert our chambres d'hôtes into a nice comfortable cottage for 2/4 people, it's composed of : - a terrace with pergola, gardenfurniture and barbecue - a living with salon, open fireplace, sofa and television it's equiped kitchen corner also has a washing machine and dishwasher - a bedroom with a bed of 140 cm, a bedroom with 2 beds of 90 cm and a bathroom with toilet			Tariffs per week July / August 760 € Sept / Oct. 660 € Other months 560 € inclusive Linen for kitchen, bathing and sheets Opened all year
	The cottage 6 places is the cottage for 2/4 people plus the beige guestroom The cottage 8/10 places is the cottage for 2/4 people plus the yellow guestroom. The tree parts are close to each other but have their own private entrance

Coming from Nîmes, Alès by the RN 106, Mende-Nimes, turn at your right after leaving Collet de Dèze, direction St Andéol de Clerguemort. 200 m further turn to the left. After the second crossroad turn to the right, follow the signs Le Viala.(20 min. off St. Privat de Vallongue).
Comming from Florac, Mende or A75 follow the RN 106 till St Privat de Vallongue (4km after Col de Jalcreste). Take to the left to St Frézal de Ventalon and the D35 till 'Col de la Fougasse'. Take right there, direction Collet de Dèze, then take the first right and follow the signs Le Viala.(20 min. off Collet de Dèze)
