Rural holiday cottages    


Le Caussanel, a former caussenard sheep-
breeding farm has got a total renovation to accomodate our guests. 

Our ecologic way of life, very present, brought us round to construct the cottages with low energetic consumption, the use of rainwater, solar energy and a woodgranule boiler. 
The lime walls and floors of terracotta and wood,  assure a natural and agreable ambiance. 
We also payed great interest to the soundproofing insulation.

The cottages are comfortably equipped with a nice decoration to favorise your well-being. 

Each house possesses an entirely independent entry and garden to garantee your privacy.

You might rent one of them or the whole of the space for holiday or a professional meeting.

Tourism

Le Caussanel lies on a priviliged spot on the Causse de Blandas,  at 5’ of the famous  Cirque de Navacelles.

The touristic possibilities are various, to give you some examples:

The village Blandas is at 10’ by foot. Here you can choose out of  tree welcoming restaurants, one of them also fonctionates as local pub.

At 10’ of the cottage (by car)  you can visit the  moulin de la Foux, an ancient grainmill actionated by the resurgence of the Vis river. 
It's a very beatiful family walk, which possibly can be combinated with a visit of the  Navacelles village.

There are several  megalithic sites on the Causse de Blandas, easily  accessible of the  road.

like la Rigalderie, with its magnific rocky landscape
 (10’ by bike).

You will be close to the Parc National des Cévennes and the Parc naturel régional des Grands Causses (15’ drive).

L’access to highway A75 is easy and beatiful  (20’). 
Le lac de Salagou lies at 35’drive. Why not visiting Lodève, the magnific  viaduc de Millau to the North, or the astonishing landscape of  Montpellier le vieux.

Cultural activities

Our region is rich of cultural activities all kind in every seaon, but especially in summer :

Music festival in le Vigan, during July and August with a lot of renown musicians. programm

Theatre evenings, exhibitions, concerts of pop,  rock, classique,  piano-bar,  etc…

At your disposal all kind of  information to visit places or participate to events of your personal interest.

You can visit the peasant farms of the region, sheepbreeding, poultry, goatbreeding and cheese dairy. 
The Aveyron with is Roquefort caves is nearby. 

Differents craftsman open their  workshops to public. Potters, glass-
studio and others on the Causse itself.

You might have the pleasure to frequent the peasant markets of Ganges and Le Vigan.

In our big room we propose cinema evenings and temporary exhibitions.
